New House Images

Here is the front of the Corning house based on the plan revisions.  The porch wraps around the house and extends the usable living space beyond the interior.  There are plenty of windows, making the interior bright and increasing the connection to the outdoors.  Although the home has a contemporary feel, the design incorporates and reinterprets traditional architectural features.
The back of the Corning house connects to either a garage or carport and includes a no-step entry for easy accessibility.

Adams County hits front page!

The front page of today's Des Moines Register features an article entitled "Iowa's Smallest County" by Jens Krogstad that discusses life in Adams County, home of Bridge Studio 2010. Alas, the section on the studio was left on the cutting room floor (I did talk to the reporter) but it's still a good article and great publicity for Iowa's smallest county!
